on courage. is an initiative to support the Ugandan LGBT+ community, in response to the recent passing of one of the harshest anti-LGBT+ laws in Africa. It features a physical card deck and a series of art prints, with an augmented reality component mixed in.

This project utilizes the immersive qualities of art, narrative, and augmented reality to not only spread awareness, but to build active support for a community facing genocide.

A 52-card classic card deck with detailed art, augmented reality, animation, and narrative, on courage. will use immersive storytelling to raise awareness and support for the Ugandan LGBTQ+ community. The deck tells the stories of four Ugandan LGBTQ+ figures and the greater Ugandan LGBTQ+ community. The card designs will be detailed in an intricate, symbolic fashion inspired by tarot card decks, and with the augmented reality component, the user will be able to scan a card and watch the art come alive, with written information floating around it. All the profits made off this project will be donated to an organization committed in mission and in practice to the protection and well-being of the Ugandan LGBTQ+ community.
