I’m SO tired, so I’ll keep this short.

I hope that regardless of what the project looks like, I’ll be proud of it. There was a ton of brainstorming and research and reflection that occurred just to come up with a project design that I was satisfied with, so I already know that executing a project that I’m impressed with is a high bar to hit. I have a pretty flexible vision on what the end product could be, though, so hopefully what I’m shooting for is realistically achievable.

Speaking of, I really do want to prioritize realism throughout this project. Creating 52 mini art pieces is already a HUGE feat, and if the first half of summer has taught me anything, it’s that summer goes fast and my body needs a lot more rest than I always assume it does. I must approach this with the stingiest mindset as possible when it comes to my time and energy; regularly asking the question, “How can I make this easier for myself?” I am committing to being kind to myself and prioritizing my well-being over the vision. I must have faith that I can still do something amazing with 80% or 60%.

Goal for the week: I want to start strong, and hit the ground running with a consistent routine. Realistically, the first week has always been the hardest in terms of projects. It doesn’t necessarily set the tone for the rest of the project, but it can set me ahead of the game or pull me back depending on how I spend my time.

That’s it for now! I plan on providing weekly updates, but if that becomes too much, it may drop to bi-weekly. There’s a lot in the air right now, but I’m excited to start figuring things out.
